The aim of the studywas to discover the attitude and behaviour of sidewalk vendors after having environmental sanitary campaign and factors affecting their attitude and behavior.The population of the study was all sidewalk vendors at three markets in Ambon town: Pasar Tegalaya/Batu Gantung in Nusaniwe district; Pasar Mardika and Batu merah in Sirimau district. The samples were selected by using accidental sampling. The data were collectedthrough questionnaire. interview, observation, and documentation, and analyzed qualitativelyand quantitatively.The results of the study indicate that 51.0% of the sidewalk vendors have a positive attitude and 47.0% have a positive behavior. The credibility of communicator; message; and media use has a sigma effect on their attitude and behaviour. Low education (76.0%) has a significant effect on their attitude and behavior, and government policy (42%) has a positive effect on their attitude behavior. Besides education and goverment policy, there are other factors (28.4%) which have an effect on their attitude and behaviour.
